Sliiide

Platform: iOS Language: C++ / Objective-C C++Objective-CiOS

Developed under SkopWorks, Sliiide is a quick, easy-to-pick-up arcade-puzzle game that combines traditional slider puzzles with tile-matching games like Tetris.

  • Planned and built the game’s foundation so designers could add and update content quickly
  • Implemented Sliiide using the proprietary in-house game engine 2LoC
  • Maintained code to work with 2LoC while the engine was being continuously updated for further functionality
  • Developed mechanics for spawning and sliding blocks
  • Worked with designers to develop accurate touch controls
  • Integrated sound using OpenAL and AVAudioPlayer
  • Worked with designers to develop Puzzle, Survival and Zen gameplay modes
